Well Once again Orlando was the best race of the year that we had the chance to attend. A big thanks to everyone that stopped by our display to chat or hangout. We were keep on the edge of our seats all weekend as one customer after another kicked butt in qualifying and eliminations. Well, for some time now the question has been who would be the first outlaw 10.5 car in the 6's and everybody had their favorite or at least an opinion. That question has now been put to rest by the killer pairing of Steve Petty and Tim Lynch!!!!! The last part of the year has been one record after another they now hold the 1/8 mile record and the 1/4 mile record. Just in case you don't know they showed up at the BIG $$$$ Huntsville race and clicked off a 4.54 setting the record and then they go to Englishtown and click off "THE PASS

HEARD ROUND THE WORLD" 6.96 @207 !!!!!!!! Well now that they have put that buzz to rest what's next??? Maybe we should ask Steve!!..... Congrats to all involved in the car the list is pretty long right now I'm just glad they let us be a part in it.....By the way now you now why they say ITS ONLY FAST IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE (get it)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jack Barfield and his team have now let everyone around the ORSCA know just who is the BIG BOSS for this season. Team Barfield started the season strong and just never slowed down his last win at Huntsville clinched the title for another year. If you keep up with outlaw 10.5 racing you will understand that most teams out there will do anything for a win!!!!! But put this question to them.. Ever change a piston out in between rounds???? That is the type of things that Jack and his crew do to win don't believe me ask around it happened!!!! We here at Neal Chance would like to thank them for choosing us to be a part of their success and look forward to helping them in any way we can in the future.

Same guy different car!!!!!! Just to make sure you don't get confused yes it is the same Steve Kirk he is just a hired gun for Mr. Green. Kinda sounds like an episode of Superman and that might just be closer to the truth than you think. Steve can now claim to being the first if the 4.50's in outlaw 10.5 racing he had gone 4.59 in testing but now he has set the record in front of all to see. His first pass of the night was 4.598 then Tim Lynch went 4.591 so car owner Rex Green said top this and Steve drove the car to a stellar 4.568 @ 160.73 to set the record man do I wish I lived a bit further south you guys are having all the fun. Thanks to Rex Green and Steve Kirk for putting their trust in our product and we wish them luck in the remainder of the season.

We at Neal Chance Racing Converters would like to congratulate Dwayne "BIG DADDY" Gutridge and his super tuner MR!!!  Job Spetter jr. of Turbo People for the Fun Ford Weekend Drag Radial Championship for 2004!!!!!!!!  If anyone is in doubt that a drag radial can run the numbers they haven't watched as these two guys set a track on fire.  The two man hit squad came out on a vengeance starting during pre-season testing running the first 7 SECOND PASS in Drag Radial history.  Then they kept it up with numerous wins , #1 qualifiers and record setting passes on the way to the 2004 FFW championship.  If you think they are done think again..... all I have to say is "WORLD STREET NATS" Orlando, FL!!!!!!   I hope to see in person another 7 second pass out of the Mustang I refer to as "THE STREAK" . See ya in Orlando if your gonna be there I wouldn't miss it for the world!!!!!!!!
Thanks again from all of us at NCRC Marty, Willie, Derek, Eric, Heath, Adam, Matt, Nick, and don't for get the girls in the office Sonya and Shelly.

After a rough start for Ross Stomp we once again have a battle in Nostalgia P/S!!!!And we are proud to say they both run Neal Chance Racing Converters. At the first of the year Tony Nesbitt comes out looking to gun down the field and in his mind Ross Stomp was the man to beat. Could it be tha big #1 on the window...Beating up on Ross even had them looking to come to our local track. When they heard that Ross was on the card at The Wichita Int. Raceways WORLD STREET NATS. along with Tony's engine builder Mike Moran they said we will be there, if Ross is. Unfortunately, Ross was on a troubleshooting run when he hurt the engine and was unable to attend. Man was I looking forward to that!!!!  Two of the top dogs fight it out with no limitations on the jet size or weight at my local track. Well Ross may not have been able to attend but the troubleshooting run showed him where the problem was and is now getting back on track.
Tony took the first 3 races in a row and jumped out to a big lead in the points but Ross is now working his way back to try and make it interesting. Ross has now put back to back wins together and the next race may be the one we talk about all winter long.  Tony's car owner Bill Adams has brought out the guns and put Tony in a brand new Larry Larson built Corvette and put Tony's mom Barbara in the Camaro (to do a little blocking maybe??) Ross says he is as ready as ever and is looking forward to the battle to the finish. But no more Mr. Nice Guy!!
Man is this taking me back to when "street racing" was really STREET RACING.
Good luck to both and we will see you at the awards banquet.

You just can't keep "THE KID" down for long. After deciding to step away from racing for awhile, along comes a deal to good to pass up. When you add Phil Pickering with a new car and with Donny Walsh Jr. becoming bored not blasting down the quarter mile at over 200 mph, you've got a team that equals D-O-M-I-N-A-T-I-O-N!
Not only did they dominate the competition but, how about adding two records and a win in their second outing this year with a 6.757 et (record) at 195.31 MPH (Record) along with a KCIR NMRA Pro 5.0 WIN!
Check back here for the latest news about Donnie Walsh Jr and Neal Chance Converters.

Tim and crew are kicking butt and taking names and not just any names
They have put together 2 wins out of 3 events. They currently hold the number 1 spot in points and are creeping closer to the record every time the blast down the quarter mile.

In 5 events we have 5 wins!!! Our customers like Jim Blair, Manny Buginga and John Urist have covered the field in every event. Jim Blair also holds the current ET record for Super Street Outlaw at 7.63. We would like to say thanks and congrats to all of the Chance converter equipped racers and look forward to more wins and records in 2004!

Kenny Bennett is definitely on a roll in NSCA Super Street, not only does he hold both ET and MPH records he has taken a full sweep 3 for 3 WINS to prove he is the man to beat in NSCA S/S.
And not to be out done, another NCRC customer
is doing the same. Tony Nesbitt has taken his Nostalgia Pro Street camaro to 3 straight WINS in the first 3 races in the Eldelbrock Pro Series. Car owner Bill Adams is currently building a new car and should make it's debut around the Cordova event. And Mom will be out to drive the Camaro!!!

Not only has Dwayne "Big Daddy" Gutridge gone 7 seconds on a BFG Drag Radial. But he continues to prove just what "BIG" means. He has won 5 of 6 events with one runner-up wins. With also a WIN at WFC7. Job Spetter of turbo people has de-tuned the black mustang to keep it winning...but, I'm sure if the event calls for it we will see another 7 second pass. Thanks again to BIG and Job for their support with Neal Chance Products.

Kevin has always been around the top and is reaching for the stars again. He has come out this year to limited events but with killer outcomes. Kevin took the win in NSCA at Cecil County after a tough loss in the semifinals to eventual winner Tim O'Hare at the PRO race at ATCO NJ. Kevin is currently doing some exhibition runs but will be back once again at the NSCA race in Maryland.
