Jason Scruggs Wins Pro Extreme at PDRA Cajun Nationals

Jason Scruggs picked up his 1st PDRA win May 3rd at the PDRA Cajun Nationals! He qualified 4th with a quick 3.57@217.63 and faced some tough competition en route to an “All NCRC” final against the #6 qualifier, Badir Ahli. Despite a holeshot by Badir, Jason reeled him in at the top end with a 3.53@219.08 to Badir’s 3.57@208.94.

Mike Castellana Wins PDRA Pro Nitrous at Cajun Nationals

Pro Nitrous

We would like to welcome Mike Castellana and Team SpeedTech to the NCRC Family and congratulation them on their 1st PDRA Pro Nitrous Victory!

Mike qualified the Team’s 69 Camaro in the #9 spot with a 3.821, but quickly got up to speed during eliminations. In another “All NCRC” final, he drew Pro Nitrous Veteran Tommy Franklin who was a little slower on the tree which cost him the race, Castellana went 3.79@197.83 to Franklin’s 3.78@195.87 – a very close race!

Congratulations to Mike and Team Speedtech on the win and to Tommy Franklin and Team on the R/U!!

We would also like to congratulate Jay Cox, the #1 Qualifier with a 3.73@200.68 which was Low ET and Top Speed in Pro Nitrous for the race.

Gerry Capano also captured his first PDRA win at the Cajun Nationals! Capano qualified #1 with a 3.86@193.68, a new Personal Best in his Blown 63 Vette. He faced Kevin Rivenbark in yet another “All NCRC” final round. Capano ran 3.80@194.18 to Rivenbark’s traction limited 3.91@192.30 to take the win!
