After many long days of hard work by the staff at Neal Chance Racing Converters, the damage from the fire in the adjoining business at our location has been repaired and we will reopen fully on Monday, March 10th.
Please bear with us while we work through the back log of emails, phone messages, and customer orders. We are working hard to get back up to speed and get our customer’s needs addressed as quickly as possible.

When David Pearson’s email@example.com record breaking 275 tire pass leaked out during the Lights Out V Grudge Race, he got booted from the class, yeah the one with no rules! And you can’t blame them, nobody wanted a piece of that running those kinds of ET’s…
So David went on to run the Outlaw Drag Radial Class and backed it up with a firstname.lastname@example.org first round win!
Unfortunately, rain stopped the race before it could be finished as Pearson certainly had good chances of taking his Procharged Mustang to the winners circle.
Incrementals on the record breaking pass were -
That’s FLYING on a 275 Radial Tire!!!
Pearson now holds some very impressive records, and NCRC is proud to have helped him achieve his goals.
- Fastest on 275 Radial
- Stock Suspension 275 Record
- ODR 275/315 Record (Duck’s Rules)
- Fastest Gas Procharger Record on 275′s
- Fastest Procharged SB on Gas on a 275
- Fastest SB Procharger on Gas (or Meth) in the World
- Fastest SB Procharged MPH (176 @ Holly Springs last Fall)
Congratulations David and Team on an impressive performance!!!
We also want to congratulate Mean Dean Marinis who was the #1 qualifier in X275 with a email@example.com and the Bruder Brothers who were #3 qualifiers with a firstname.lastname@example.org!
Wednesday Night, February 19th Neal Chance Racing Converters Building in Cheney, Kansas suffered a large fire severely damaging the back half of the 100,000 sq. ft. building where a separate business was located. The fire, which burned for 2 hours before being brought under control, wiped out that portion of the building, but did not reach the Converter business portion of the building and no one was injured in the fire. Unfortunately, major smoke damage did occur, shutting NCRC down at this time.
Marty Chance, his family and several employees were attending Lights Out V at SGMP when they were notified of the fire, that’s why they pulled out in such a rush from the race.
As of Saturday Morning, Feb 22nd, Neal Chance Employees do not have access to the building due to the restrictions the Fire Marshall has in effect at this time. We are certain due to the smoke damage, equipment and the building will have to be cleaned before we can start up production again. Please note that customers parts that were in the shop were not damaged by the fire, but they will need to be cleaned.
Since we do not have access to the building at this time, we can not answer the phones, so contact will be limited to email only via our contact page at www.racingconverters.com/contact-us/.
Our best estimate at this point in time is it will be two weeks until we will be back up and running if all goes well. Please bear with us as we get back on our feet again.
Neal Chance Racing Converters WILL be back up and running as soon as physically possible. NCRC President Marty Chance said “We’ve been wiped out by a tornado before, now a fire, but we will rebuild and we’ll be back soon!!!
Please check back on our web site www.racingconverters.com for status updates.
