Big congratulations to Alex Laughlin on his Runner Up at No Mercy 9!
Alex Laughlin and Frankie the Mad Man Taylor gave em’ hell and got all the way to the finals at No Mercy 9. All eyes were on the Blue Vette after laying down a 3.79@199 during the first round and Team Laughlin didn’t disappoint. After a last minute lifter thrash and the threat of rain contributed to the excitement leading to the final, in the end it was a good close race against Naiser who went 3.79 to Alex’s 3.80.
Way to go Alex, Frankie and Team on your Runner Up!
Van Geibel got to the Winners Circle September 8th in the Liberty Gears All Motor Class at Milan. The final round against Vince Khoury turned out to be a close race with Geibel laying down a 7.639 to Khoury’s 7.669. Not bad for a 694″ Naturally Aspirated at 3200 lbs! Van uses a Neal Chance Bolt Together in his awesome 69 Camaro.
Congratulations to Van and Crew Rick Dodge on the win!

Frankie “The Madman” Taylor wrapped up his “Northern Swing” Down Under Tour last weekend with a final round win in the Aussie Desert Nationals Pro Slammer Final. Taylor defeated his teammate Ben Bray in the final, with the third member, Victor Bray coming in 3rd! That’s cause to celebrate!
Congratulations to Frankie, Paul, Ben, Victor and the rest of the Bray Racing Team sponsored by Gulf Western Oil!!

A hot track and crappy air typically are not the ideal conditions to go out and break a class record, but apparently Jim Bell’s Camaro didn’t care, with Carl Stevens behind the wheel and Xtreme Racing Engines Hemi under the hood, the Team went out and blasted away the NEOPMA MPH Record, and broke the Maple Grove Track record three times!!!
4 Consistent 5.70 passes at 260 MPH took Stevens to the winners circle as well! Way to go Carl, Jim and Team!!

Jimmy Plimpton has been on a roll lately, he just wheeled the Teams Fearmont to another X275 win at the Ohio Valley Prize Fight. Despite challenging hot track temps and numerous hiccups, the Plimpton Team powered through to take the final round win over Kenny Hubbard in close final round. Plimpton went 4.45@161 to Hubbard’s 4.49@159 to take the win!
Congratulations to Jimmy, Jim, Ervin, Sam, Cory, and the Nick’s on your win!
