New members to Team NCRC Mean Dean Marinis and the Bruder Brothers both showed their skills at MIR’s Door Wars April 20th. Marinis, who just switched to the new NCRC NXS BB converter, reset the X275 record when he went 4.585@155.82 in testing on his 1st full hit. Marinis backed it up with a best of 4.595 in qualifying landing him the #1 spot.

The Bruder Brothers, who made the switch to Turbo during the winter grabbed the #2 spot with a 4.625 in qualifying. Very impressive for the Team’s brand new Turbo combination – as you all know it often takes an entire season or more to get up to speed on that big of change, going this quick that soon is a testament to how good these guys really are!

As expected, both swept through the ladder easily… Marinis ran low ET of every round and meet up with Rich Bruder for an “All NCRC” final. Mean Dean got out 1st and laid down a 4.591@156.81 over Bruder’s 4.703@155.70 but you can bet that’s not the end of it, these two teams will be facing each other again in the finals very soon we bet!

Congratulations to Dean Marinis on resetting the X275 World Record and for the win, and to the Bruder Brothers for the Runner Up! We’re proud to have you guys on Team NCRC and looking forward to working with you!
