Janis Wins NHRA Pro Mod at Springnationals

Mike Janis took home the Pro Mod win at the NHRA Springnationals in Baytown April 27th!

Mike qualified #5 with a 5.896@246.80 right behind Ron Muenks, another NCRC Equipped NHRA Pro Mod. Muenks and Janis meet up in Round 2 in a close Blower vs Nitrous race, Muenks ran 5.964@241 and Janis ran 5.895@245.58 which allowed him to advance to the finals where he defeated Mike Castellana who red lite. Janis, with a .018 light laid down a quick 5.927@244.56 to Castellana’s 5.904@243.33.

That event win put Janis in the #2 points position! Congratulations to Mike and the Jan-Cen Racing Team!

We want to also congratulation the Dave’s RV Team and Ron Muenks on their new personal best pass at this race. They went 5.895@240.08 during the 2nd Round of qualifying! Way to go guys!!!
